Acriflavine 100ml

Acriflavine is used to treat bacterial and fungal infections in fish as well as a disinfectant for their open wounds.   Aids in the treatment and prevention of bacterial disease, velvet disease, fin rot, body rot external infections.

You can also use acriflavine to disinfect fish eggs to prevent fungus on them.

You might want to use Acriflavine as an alternative to Malachite Green for treating scale-less fish such as catfish, elephant-nose, etc.

Directions:

Feed fish with antibiotic food (AquaDox) otherwise stop or severely limit feeding during treatment.

Dosage:

10ml per 200L or 1ml per 20L of aquarium water once a day for 4 days with daily water change of 20% (prior to treatment).

Ammonia neutralizing or phosphate absorbing products will not impact the efficacy of acriflavine. It can also be used together with methylene blue and antibiotics.
