Shrimp Snowflake Bulk 125g

Snowflake Bulk is a larger pellet for Heavy Stocked Shrimp tanks.

This “snowflake” food from OG Shrimp is made from soybean shells. The soybean shells provide a growth media for Mycelia which is the vegetative part of a fungi. Mycelia contains proteins, amino acids, fats, and other beneficial nutrients for shrimp. You probably will not usually see fungus growing on the snowflake food unless you have no shrimp in the tank as they are constantly eating the fungus before it becomes visible. The shrimp will begin eating the snowflakes immediately as well. Snowflake Food is especially beneficial to young shrimp which really seem to enjoy grazing on it.

Since Snowflake Food does not pollute the water when left in the tank it makes a good “vacation” food for when you are going to be away from your tank for several days.

Feeding: Start by feeding 1cm worth of pellets (they are various sizes) per 50 shrimp. Add more as needed.
