Peace of mind Quality
Also known as a Vesuvius Sword Plant, it is similar to corkscrew vallisneria. The vesuvius looks like curly underwater grass, but its blades are narrower and grow in a tighter twist. Its common name was chosen because the leaves appear to be rising from the base of the plant much like the smoke wisps spiraling out of Mount Vesuvius.
This form of Sword is a fairly new addition to the aquarium hobby, unlike some of the swords; its leaves tend to be longer and slimmer. It can be invasive and plants can literally appear in the tank overnight if it is given the correct growing conditions. Yellowing of the leaves is a sure sigh of iron deficiency so always keep a watch out for this but it is very undemanding in all other aspects.
