- Appearance: They have a bright yellow body and blue eyes.
- Water conditions: They prefer warm, soft, and slightly acidic water. The ideal temperature range is 72–86°F, and the ideal pH range is 6.5–7.5.
- Diet: They do best when offered a varied diet, including sinking dried foods, frozen Daphnia, mosquito larvae, chironomid larvae (bloodworm), and prawn/shrimp.
